3 SIMPLE WAYS TO GET YOUR CHILD (AND YOURSELF) MOVING AND ON TRACK TO LIVING A HEALTHIER LIFESTYLE!

Did you know that children are less active than ever before? Children are not getting the required levels of daily activity and as a result obesity levels are skyrocketing worldwide.

Here are 3 great tips to set a fitness routine for your child!

1 – Do an online sports class as a family. There are unlimited resources online that are fun and engaging that you can do at home with the whole family. Check out our online exercise videos for easy and creative indoor movement activities! Click here.

2 – Set out a weekly/daily family fitness challenge. For example, as a family we need to walk 50 km this week. This is a great way to motivate everyone to get moving and we suggest having a reward if you achieve your goal like Pizza night or movie night! This will help keep people on track to achieve their goals! It also is a great way to encourage teamwork and accountability.

3 – Split up the fitness into blocks throughout the day, Morning, lunchtime and after dinner. Setting routine workout plans is a fantastic way to keep the metabolism active which will result in a healthier and happier family!
